2.1 Where is my financial data stored?

Everything you enter — current age, target retirement age, net worth, savings rates, salary growth assumptions, living expenses, and lump-sum schedules — is stored exclusively on your device in local storage using Apple’s SwiftData framework. There are no accounts, no logins, and no remote cloud servers. Retire O’Clock has zero backend infrastructure, meaning nobody except you can ever view your financial projections.

2.2 How do I back up my data or transfer it to another device?

Because your data resides entirely on your device, it is backed up along with your device using standard Apple backup mechanisms (such as encrypted iCloud Backup or local computer backups via Finder / iTunes). When you set up a new iPhone or restore from an iCloud backup, your Retire O’Clock calculations and scenarios transfer automatically. We also plan to support direct data export (such as JSON or CSV files) in future updates.

2.3 How are FIRE targets and compound projections calculated?

All compounding calculations, inflation projections, future expense adjustments, safe withdrawal rate derivations, and scenario models execute entirely on your device’s processor. No numbers are transmitted to remote servers or cloud AI models. Calculations account for annual contribution compounding, customizable annual salary raise / contribution growth rates, and Rupiah-tailored inflation adjustments.

2.4 How does the Lump-Sum & THR schedule work?

Retire O’Clock is specifically designed for Indonesian professionals who receive periodic cash infusions like Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR), annual performance bonuses, or dividend distributions. In the app, you can configure recurring or one-time lump sums that are factored directly into your compounding timeline on top of regular monthly savings.

2.5 How do I delete all my data?

Inside the App, you can reset all inputs and scenarios via the settings menu. You can also delete the Retire O’Clock app from your device at any time, which immediately purges its sandboxed SwiftData database. Because we never store or sync your data to an external server, deleting the app removes every trace permanently.

2.6 What operating system versions does Retire O’Clock support?

Retire O’Clock is built using modern Swift 6 and SwiftUI, requiring iOS 17.0 or later for iPhone and iPadOS 17.0 or later for iPad.
